What is 45-days letter as I have read so many times in this forum??
My cas received date Oct 10 2004, is this Priority date??

when do we all send it? should we wait for oct 2nd?
Also is it a crime to send such letters in bulk to a govt agency?(kinda spamm?)

On what basis dates are moved to PD 2006 for India and China during Aug and September ? Is there a memorandum which justifies this move ?
Dear USCIS,
1> On what basis you are processing the applications ? Receipt Date,Notice Date or Priority Date ? How can you justify approving 2006 cases
2> How many 485 applications are pending for India and China , year wise ? Why is it so difficult to publish ? why are we in dark and guessing things ?
3>What the customer service is for ? your 1-800 number information is so use less ...Why can not they even inform us about our Priority date or Name Check cleareance ? And the service tickets are next to useless

come to think of it trying to find out about kid's school is in fact very good ..kids are future..
This forum is for immigration purpose ..yes ..but if someone wants to educate themselves on other related/non related topics that should be fine a long as they are not forcing anyone to answer their question or coming in the way of the purspose of the forum..
any day better than some of the non-informative,unhealthy topics that have been discussed here..
But again each to their own as I guess everybody has their style of thinking what's healthy and what's not.

It is so true. BEC victims are now I-140 backlog victims. It might help if IV can campaign for I-140 premium processing for BEC backlog victims. Ours is EB2 2003 from PBEC. LC process took 4 years. We are still waiting for I-140 to be approved while they are approving GCs for 2006 filers. It is absolutely unfair game by USCIS.

Champak, I'm in the same boat as yours. Called the Atlanta number and left a message with my case number. My attorney sent an email this week. I have also asked my employer to do the same. Maybe I'll take your advice and send them an email too.

I just received by approved Labor Certification from PBEC yesterday. My priority date is July 2003 and my application was filed in NY under EB2 in the Traditional method.
My employer received recruitment instructions end of December 2006. They filed the completed recruitment report on February 13, 2007. I noticed my case status was 'certified' on the DOL Backlog Public Disclosure system some time early April, and it took several weeks before they sent out the original certification, which I received yesterday (May 7th).

Never goto ICICI bank. Only crooks and criminals are working there. No ethics and only inhuman treatment. My friend took a home loan from this bank and he is suffering now.

Can you substantiate how he is suffering ? I also have a home loan through ICICI Bank and have been very happy so far. They have the best service amongst all banks in the country, and so they charge for it. Ultimately its a trade-off - you can decide whether you want to go cheap or require good service.
As some posters pointed out earlier, its extremely easy to apply for a home loan through ICICI Bank sitting here in the US. I dont know of any other Indian banks that would provide you the same level of convenience.
