Many of us (including me) are frustrated in waiting for NSC approval of I-140.
I was asking my friend how NSC is processing the 140 & 485 applications and he has sent me the following youtube video and I give below the link.

Hi,
Can someone tell me a little bit about visitor visa validity dates. For eg: if my parents got a 3 month visa, is it valid from the date it is issued or from the date of entry into the US?

It is valid from the date it is issued and they shld enter the US before it expires. However at the port of entry, the consular officer may chose it give it beyond the actual expiry date.

I am on H-1 B , and planning to apply for Labor certification - working for an Automobile manufacturing Company in Engineering department,my qualifications are Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering-SOC CODE (17-2141), Masters in Industrial Engineering SOC CODE(17-2112).
my current job responsibilities matches with Industrial designer, Just want to ask in order to apply Labor can i use Commercial & Industrial designer SOC CODE(27-1021), also base cause for using this code is meeting Salary requirements, other two codes giving high salaries compare to this code which is matching my salary code, . help will be appreciated

Hi All ,
I am currently on L1B visa valid till Dec 25 2008 and current I-94 valid still July 2009.
I can't apply for I-94 extension until Jan 09.
I am travelling to india on Nov and will return on Nov 30 2008.
Is it advisable to go for Visa Stamping during Nov 08 or can i file my extension once i returned back to US on NOv 30 2008.My visa will be valid only for 25 days and want to know if that will create any issues.
Any views would be greatly appreciated.

If you have receipt # you can check the status on uscis.gov, you can also call their 1-800 # to check what's going on with this application.

Thanks - I took this walking along a railroad bed that is no longer in use. I must have chased 10 of these things around before I finally got this one that would hold still long enough to get a descent shot.
