This is the worst DMV in NJ... You may be better off going to Jersey City, Princeton or anywhere else.
Princeton/Trenton are also worst...FYI...My DL already expired on 9th Sept.
I went to Trenton with original receipt and employer letter but still they refused to renew my license.
My attorney forgot to upgrade my H1 application to premium process and then started to defend himself by saying that he did not get any approval from my employer and at the same time he never told me that he did not get my employer authorization till Sept 11th where as I asked him to upgrade to premium sometime in last week of July'07. So from July to Sept'11th he kept making excuses one after another but never mentioned that he needs an employer authorization.Thats how these attorneys work and screw our lives....

This is what I think America loses due to delay in green card process. I can say this from my own experience. People with advanced degrees in Science and Technology have to keep doing same job to maintain status for 8 - 10 years since changing job / company reset's their GC process. When a guy comes to US for education the average age is around 23 - 24 years. MS completed by 25. Most guys at that time have burning desire to do something new and innovative (either in job or starting own business). But the most fortune 100 companies do not sponsor H1B or GC (Example Raytheon, Toyota, Lexmark .... based on my personal experience as electrical engineer) so you end up compromising with career to maintain status and work for companies that sponsor H1B ( future career prospects take a backseat). Then after 8 - 10 years when you get GC you already are married and possibly kids to look after you are already burnt out and want to keep working in the same desk/ clerical job that you have been doing for so many years. So its a lose lose situation to all neither government gains from the GC (by which they hope to make US a more innovative place) nor the immigrants since by then all they can think is a full time job, home and 401K.

My Lawyer filed 20 cases for labor since January '07. None have neen approved yet as of today.

They are working overtime for it, hopefully 24 hours as well. This is my fear even before this announcement that visa numbers be wasted again.
Maybe we can volunteer to adjudicate each of our own case...lol!
When I was a kid in school the teacher solved the bottleneck (of him/her doing the correction of tests) by having the students mark each others tests.
I'd be happy to adjudicate your case JunRN, if you'd adjudicate mine; heck, I'd even let you use your "current" Bank of America visa in place of a DOS visa :-)

We need to think with cool heads and execute things properly - first organize ourselves - gain support - consult our counsel - come out with proper plan of execution.
From what I observed the action of USCIS redirecting flowers to hospital and armymen backfired. It was perceived as an insult to the brave soldiers.

What spillover for EB3 you are talking about? Based on how they interpreted the spillover law last year, EB3-I can't get any spillover until EB2-I and EB3-ROW is current and thats decade away.
I am just trying to get the facts. I am not against EB3-I as I myself is EB3-I and waiting for my turn since last 7 years.

I Agree with you, EB3 I will never ever be current unless there is a resolution or releaf passed by Mr Change (Obama) or his lobby, there is no light beyond this tunnel until we see some releaf which does not look getting this year atleast and may be another couple of years.
Predictions are good to just hear and watch and here predictions are like lovely dreams which will never come true unless untill any big chnage is taken place, and the only person who i have hope with to do something for EB3 I is President Obama.
But he is kind of busy with other important issues and our issue is not that important for him reason may be we are not his vote bank and will get to the curve of getting the GC when we are very close to our graves.
This is really furstating and freinds sorry to express my frustration here on this forum but i am done and just look at my PD Dec 2001 for the past 1 year i hear from my lawyer you are just the next badge and should be current in the next bulletin.
I think we should live everything aside and just do our best at work thats what i am doing and thank god for getting our bread and butter in this economy.
